to insert chart site, follow these steps:

  1. open site page you'd insert chart into.
  2. click edit page button.
  3. go insert menu, , select chart.
  4. select spreadsheet list contains chart data you'd display.
    - if spreadsheet contains chart, can select chart. snapshot of spreadsheet chart, , chart won't update if spreadsheet data modified. insert chart dynamically updates, open charts editor , select live option.
    - if spreadsheet doesn't have chart in it, enter range of data. if mark live, chart update spreadsheet data modified. if mark snapshot, chart won't update unless manually so. learn more creating chart.
  5. once you've selected or created chart, click ok.
  6. on next page, can adjust dimensions of chart , change title. when you've done so, click save, , chart inserted page.
keep in mind:
anyone viewing site can view snapshot chart. if you've selected live updating chart, people have access spreadsheet able view updated version of original chart.
