How to write html code inside a php file -

i want write html form inside login.php , submit in login.php .so how can write html inside php file?if write tag shows error.

<?php // php code here ?>  html code here  <?php // more php code here ?>  more html code here 

if plan use php code anywhere in file, use .php file extension.
